$125.00
Description

Perfect for brand-new sewists, this friendly four-week class builds skills step by step with a fun, finished project each week. You’ll learn the basics of using a sewing machine, reading simple patterns, cutting fabric, and sewing straight and curved seams.

Projects include a pillowcase, a bowl cozy, a tote bag, and a zipper bag, giving you confidence with everyday sewing techniques you can use again and again. Sewing machines can be provided for class, but students are encouraged to bring your own machines. By the end of the series, you’ll have four handmade items and the skills to keep sewing on your own!

"Very thoughtful people in the shop. They seem interested in what you need and try to help. I have started quilting this summer with my granddaughter so I just started going there. Their threads are beautiful. I had a new machine with threading issues which they fixed for me. It was super kind of them."

"Amazing place! Great staff (Bari & Jen) who are very knowledgeable about their products. They are also extremely helpful & friendly. This is the kind of place where you walk in and they know your name. They have most everything I need for sewing. I also bought a Baby Lock Joy from them last year just as a spare small machine. Well, that machine is super easy to use and maintain, and is definitely a workhorse! Hoping to take one of their classes soon."

"My Babylock serger dies. But they can fix it! This is a lovely store, lots of different machines, including free standing embroidery and long arm quilting machines. Small, but nice selection of beautiful fabrics. Absolutely wonderful people. I can not say enough on how great they have kept me informed about the repair job! They called me and when I went in they were so kind. They have really worked hard to get me what I need. They also have a nice wall of embroidery thread, just eye candy! Please check the shop out. But do check store hits before you go!"
