Quilters Select Right-Handed Wave Applique Scissors
These specialized scissors are designed by Quilters Select, a brand known for quality quilting tools developed with quilting personality Alex Anderson. They are designed to keep your hands up and away from the fabric you are cutting. The Duckbill blade enables you to snip away excess fabric without catching or cutting the base layer.
Key Features:
- Specifically for right-handed users: The blade orientation is designed for right-handers, ensuring comfort and precision.
- "Wave" design: The ergonomic, angled handles keep the user's hand elevated and out of the way while cutting.
- Premium German-grade stainless steel: The blades are made from high-quality steel for excellent durability and edge retention.
- Narrow, micro-rounded arrow points: The slim, .05-inch wide blades are ideal for navigating tight corners and intricate curves during applique and other detailed fabric work.
- Duckbill shape: The rounded, broad blade helps protect the base fabric from accidental snips.
- Ideal for intricate work: The combination of a wave handle and a precise, micro-tip blade makes these scissors perfect for tight curves, corners, and detailed applique or embroidery

"Very thoughtful people in the shop. They seem interested in what you need and try to help. I have started quilting this summer with my granddaughter so I just started going there. Their threads are beautiful. I had a new machine with threading issues which they fixed for me. It was super kind of them."
"Amazing place! Great staff (Bari & Jen) who are very knowledgeable about their products. They are also extremely helpful & friendly. This is the kind of place where you walk in and they know your name. They have most everything I need for sewing. I also bought a Baby Lock Joy from them last year just as a spare small machine. Well, that machine is super easy to use and maintain, and is definitely a workhorse! Hoping to take one of their classes soon."
"My Babylock serger dies. But they can fix it! This is a lovely store, lots of different machines, including free standing embroidery and long arm quilting machines. Small, but nice selection of beautiful fabrics. Absolutely wonderful people. I can not say enough on how great they have kept me informed about the repair job! They called me and when I went in they were so kind. They have really worked hard to get me what I need. They also have a nice wall of embroidery thread, just eye candy! Please check the shop out. But do check store hits before you go!"
