Learn to Quilt by Machine - Summerville Class (Saturdays)
Description
Welcome to the start of your quilting adventure!
This 7-week Beginner Class will introduce you to quilting by machine. You will learn tips and tricks, beginning with choosing fabrics, to make your quilting journey a successful one. You will have a completed quilt at the end of the class.
The class is divided into 7 sessions. Each class we will cover a different part of the quilt process. There is homework to be completed on your own, so you must have a sewing machine to use at home. If you do not own a machine, we do have machines for purchase.
We do ask that you know how to operate your sewing machine, but it is not necessary to have made a quilt before.
There are two size options: Baby (39"x48") or Lap (60"x60"). The steps are the same for both sizes, there are just more blocks in the lap size, meaning more homework outside of class.
We require that you purchase your fabric for the class from Sew Suite Quilt & Sew - you will receive a 10% discount on fabric for the class.
Your fabrics need to be selected Before classes start.

"My Babylock serger dies. But they can fix it! This is a lovely store, lots of different machines, including free standing embroidery and long arm quilting machines. Small, but nice selection of beautiful fabrics. Absolutely wonderful people. I can not say enough on how great they have kept me informed about the repair job! They called me and when I went in they were so kind. They have really worked hard to get me what I need. They also have a nice wall of embroidery thread, just eye candy! Please check the shop out. But do check store hits before you go!"
